Vintage Train Orders Hoop (Rock Island RR)

Description

Vintage Train Orders Hoop (Rock Island RR). I picked this up from an estate from a railroader, he started that this was a hoop they used to pass train orders to the crews.  I'm not a historian to be able to date it or verify it's story. The condition is used and has wear and tear, looks like it been used. Not sure of what it's made of, but I have an, app that says it's golden bamboo.. sold as is, tried to tell  as much as I know. It's appr 57 long 13 wide, it'll be shipped in a large box.
