Description
Your bid is for THE
TOLEDO TERMINAL RAILROAD COMPANY, Dispatcher's Record of Movement of Trains, with
the generating office presumably located in Toledo, Ohio, and dated, Friday,
July 20, 1984. The TT RR was once owned by all, or most, of its connecting
railroads, but as time went on, it ended up solely owned and operated by the
Chesapeake & Ohio RR, soon to morph into CSX, which operates what remains
today. This unfolded sheet measures 58.5 by 122.6 cm (about 23 by 48 & 1/2
inches archaic measure) and covers 24.8 miles from GOULD to BATES; 10.23 miles
from MILLARD AVE. to BATES; and 0.95 miles from WALBRIDGE to STANLEY. The paper
is quality bonded HOWARD LEDGER, but is a greenish-grey color, which makes
little contrast with the blue ink that the DS’s used. Still, it is all quite
legible and a neat document. What makes this sheet different from most is the
directions are “A” and “B” instead of the north, south, east or west we usually
see. And connecting railroads are listed such as CR, NW, CO, GT. On the longest
route, there were about 20 moves in either direction. This sheet is in
excellent, museum-quality condition. It has been carefully folded four times
for ease in shipping and storage. Your satisfaction guaranteed. Please see my
other eBay auctions for more rare and scarce railroad paper. I provide personal
service without silly eBay games like waiting for payment before shipping,
mandated payment methods, clumsy communications and charging for return
shipping. Please check my feedback and DSR's. Everything I sell is POSTPAID
USA, so the winning bid is what you pay, plus eBay’s state tax if applicable,
unless you want special services. I normally ship first day after auction ends
IF I have a payment plan & a proper shipping address, or you are a recent
previous buyer. Thank you for reading. Alden Dreyer, 91 Reynolds Road,
