SB1125 19-1/2" Variable-Speed Drill Press
A high-performance drill press with a powerful motor and variable-speed control.
This smooth-running South Bend SB1125 19-1/2" Floor Drill Press has a 3-phase variable-speed motor that runs on standard 220V single-phase power with an inverter.
The inverter increases the efficiency of the motor and decreasing electricity use. It reduces wear and tear on the motor which extends the life of the drill press.
This makes it a great high-end option for serious hobbyists and smaller shops running single-phase power. Just plug it into any 220V single-phase outlet.
The overall two-range variable spindle speed control ranges between 50 to 2000 RPM, monitored via a digital readout. This wide range of speeds makes it perfect for both woodworkers as well as metalworkers.
The torque created by the 1 horsepower motor combined with the low spindle speeds allows for an impressive 1-9/16" capacity for drilling mild steel.
The 16" by 20" precision-ground cast-iron table has two 5/8" T-slots, with 360° table positioning around column, and hand-crank enabled rack-and-pinion table elevation. The table can be swung to the back when drilling tall work pieces; securing it to the cast-iron base using the two 5/8" T-slots.
The SB1125 features a full 5-1/2" of spindle travel with, MT#3 spindle, and comes with a 5/8" capacity drill chuck.

How Will My Freight Be Delivered?
This item ships via truck freight. The trucking company will call you to arrange for curbside delivery. Your delivery address must be accessible by tractor-trailer. Truck drivers are not required to give assistance unloading, which means that you are responsible for unloading your freight and moving it to your shop. We estimate, but cannot guarantee, delivery in 3 to 5 business days. If tracking your order on the carrier’s website, ignore any estimated delivery dates as these are often incorrect.
What If I Need Help Unloading And Moving My Freight To My Shop? Do You Offer Any Extra Delivery Services?
Your delivery address must be accessible by tractor-trailer and you are still responsible for moving the freight from your curbside to your shop.
Some freight terminals are equipped to offer additional services - such as moving the freight into your shop or garage for you - on a limited basis for an additional charge. None of the carriers we work with will move freight up or down stairs. If you are interested in finding out whether the carrier can offer additional delivery services for your order, please send us a message and we will be happy to look into it for you. Please be advised that Grizzly Industrial will not be responsible for providing these services for returns.
I Work Full Time And There Is No One Home To Receive My Freight Delivery. What Are My Options?
Freight is delivered on weekdays during normal business hours. Many customers find it more convenient to arrange to pick up at the carrier's terminal or to have their orders shipped to their work address or to a friend who can be home to accept delivery during the day. Since it is your responsibility to unload your freight from the truck and to inspect your freight to be sure you receive the right number of boxes in good condition, someone must be present at the time of delivery.
