    AS THE "CENTURIES" PASS IN THE NIGHT THE TWENTIETH CENTURY LIMITED THE NEW YORK CENTRAL LINES PICTURE BY NOTED DOG AND RAILROAD ARTIST WILLIAM HAMDEN FOSTER.  1923 NYCRR IN WOOD PAINTED BLACK FRAME WITH IVORY MAT (SOME GRIME TO MAT).  FRAME MEASURES 14" X 17.75".  PICTURE IN FRAME MEASURES 10.5" X 14.5".  PICTURE WAS PRODUCED AS ADVERTISMENT FOR RXR TO HANG IN DEPOTS AND PROMOTE THE TWENTIETH CENTURY LINE AND THE NEW YORK CENTRAL LINES. BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER HAS 1923 NEW YORK CENTRAL R.R.CO.  BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER BY RAIL HAS BLURRED ARTIST SIGNATURE.  BACKING OF PICTURE IS PRESSED BOARD?  FEW FLATTENED WRINKLE MARKS ON PICTURE
