SEALED
ROLLING STONES
Beggars Banquet LP,
1969 London PS-539.
Wow, here you have an early press of one of the Stone's most influential albums.  Even though Jumping Jack Flash a year earlier was their true first rockin' hit, this was their first true rockin album.  It was in the process of being recorded when unfortunately Brian Jones died, but he's on four of the tracks.  Although Mick Taylor does appear on a track or two, they don't mention him.
Because sealed 1st pressings are so rare, I seriously doubt this is one.  But by the solid feel, the shrink style and especially the weight (311.3grams), my guess is it's likely an early 70's.
So it's as good as you will find, as finding a 1st press would be extremely difficult to find.  Except for the initial mispress with the wrong credits, it's sometimes impossible to know for sure anyway.  If you were lucky enough to find one of those sealed, it would probably fetch over 00!  Even the ones with a price tag still cannot guarantee which pressing.
This one also has large shrink vent holes (2 front/2 back) which are rather rare.
It's getting very hard to find original sealed Stones albums from the 70's.
This one is in awesome condition, it only has
the slightest surface rub and a slight manufacturing flaw (1 3/4" ripple on the cardboard) on front next to the 'B'.  Otherwise solid edges and perfect corners, NM-.
It has large shrink vent holes (2 front/2 back) which are rather rare.  It's hard to find original sealed Stones albums from the 70's.
