This was the start of a great period for the Stones, when they were about to reach their popularity peak and argua
bly put out some of their best tunes.  Although Brian Jones was influencial initially
,
Mick Taylor whom joined the band in June 1969 replacing Jones, brought them to a higher rock and roll level by bringing great hard driven guitar riffs and song writing contributions
.  Once Taylor quit, they lost their edge and their most talented guitarist.
You won't see any 1970 American Stones stubs, as they did not tour the U.S. in 1970 or 1971.  They actually did not tour much at all those 2 years and only in Europe.  This stub is in nice
condition but it does have some handling wear, shows discoloration and has a short 4mm rip at the top.  Otherwise solid and
in nice shape.
