ROCK ISLAND CRI&P RAILROAD TRAIN ORDERS (21) LIBERAL, KANSAS 1967-1970.

Description

In very good condition. 21 train orders from the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad (ROCK ISLAND), copied at Liberal, Kansas. These orders were copied from 1967 to 1970. All of these orders were copied on Rock Island CT-110 flimsy forms. These are NOT Form 19 orders. 5 single orders, the rest are in 2 complete sets with clearance cards attached. This location was right in the middle of the "West End", known also as the Tucumcari Line. This line was train order territory even after SP took over in 1980, and remained so till DTC took over and replaced train orders around 1986. Many trains of solid perishables plied this line, as these trains were received from Southern Pacific at Tucumcari for movement eastward. No. 70 and No. 92 were both fruit blocks. All of these orders are very well-preserved.
Very nice items that are obsolete and no longer used by any Railroad.
