  • Condition: The doily is in very good condition there is one small 1/4" tear on the edge at approx. three O'Clock. This tear is hard too see when pressed into place. There are also two small spots near the GN logo (these do not detract).

    RAILROAD-GREAT NORTHERN RAILROAD LARGE ORNATE PAPER DOILY FROM APPLE WEEK 1929
    Offered today is a large ornate paper doily from the Great Northern Railroad. The doily is approx. 6" wide, and top marked. The doily has the Great Northern Logo at the bottom and a floral design of Lily of The Valley around the inner rim. In the center are the words, "Concentrated sunshine and health from the famous Wenatchee Valley Orchards Compliments of Great Northern Railway Dining Car Dept. National Apple week Oct. 31st to Nov 7, 1929". The doily is in very good condition there is one small 1/4" tear on the edge at approx. three O'Clock. This tear is hard too see when pressed into place. There are also two small spots near the GN logo (these do not detract).
