Ditting KF804 Commercial Coffee Grinder - Excellent Like New. Condition is "Seller refurbished". Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground.
For sale is a Ditting KF804 that I have just finished breaking down and professionally coating the case before putting back together. If you want higher res pics or any specific pics message me and I can send.
The grinder has been gently used through its life and I know most of its history. Message me if you want details. The only defect is the etching of the hopper plastic that can't be seen unles you open the lid and look in. The etching was caused from cleaning with acetone and does not effect the function of the hopper. There is a picture in the description. Besides that it looks awesome with the new coating and is about as close to pristine a used grinder as you can find.
The grinder has an almost new set of machined Ditting burrs rated for 15,000 lbs. They have been used to grind around 300 lbs of coffee.
Please ask any questions before bidding because this grinder is very heavy and expensive to ship. Returns will not be accepted unless it does not function as advertised.
Details of disassembly and rebuild:
-All parts were cleaned of any oils, residue, old grind dust - accessible metal parts were polished with progressively finer scotch brite pads (maroon, green, gray and white).
-Replaced felt gasket for the rotating burr assembly and lightly lubricated it with mineral oil as recommended by Ditting.
-Rubber chute piece was replaced.
-The power switch was replaced.
-Ditting logos on the case have been replaced with new decals.
-Any stripped screws were replaced.
-All of the case parts were stripped down to bare metal and were professionally coated in black Cerakote.
-Hopper was stripped of old paint and painted black to match the case
-Grinder was reassembled and calibrated to factory setting with 1 on the dial grinding super fine for Turkish coffee.
