DETROIT, TOLEDO & IRONTON---DETROIT & TOLEDO SHORE LINE TRAIN ORDERS (274) CD!!

Description

In very good condition. This is a Top-Quality CD of 274 train order images from the Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Railroad and the Detroit & Toledo Shore Line Railroad. These train order images cover the entire systems of both these roads, both going south out of Detroit.
Included is one station list showing each location and the number of images included from that location, again covering both of these Railroads.
Also included is a small timetable compendium of 3 employee timetables from these 2 roads. These timetables are:
DT&I system employee timetable No. 21 dated September 15, 1946  11 pages;
DT&I system ETT No. 25 dated December 10, 1978  41 pages; and
D&TSL system ETT No. 34 dated September 12, 1976  32 pages. Total 84 pages of employee timetables that cover all of this territory, so you can see where each location was, with respect to the others.
Both of these roads were hard to get anything from, especially if you live in Kansas like I do. However, I had enough items to make this CD over 56 years of collecting, and am very pleased to offer this CD with this many images. Both of these Railroads were merged into Grand Trunk Western in the early 1980's, and this is all part of the Canadian National Railways now. Both of these roads were train-order territory up until they were merged out of existence.
There are 29 different train order locations from the DT&I represented here, and 7 more from the D&TSL, with at least one train order image from each location. Ages of the orders range from 1935 to 1982.
The 12 pictures shown are just a sampling of the quantity and variety of locations and operations unique to these two Railroads. A concerted effort has been made, to give the best (some enhanced) images possible. There is a grand total of 359 images included, with the timetable pages and station list.
The train orders in this CD show many engine numbers, track conditions, operating procedures, and all kinds of meets and flag orders, all consistent with train-order operation. This is some of the best Railroad reading anywhere.
