Baldwin Locomotive Works Builders Lists and Research CD
This CD contains high resolution PDF (Adobe Acrobat) files of all the Baldwin Construction lists I have collected over the years. Each File has an index and is book marked every 250 numbers for easier scanning and searching. This CD also contains a high resolution PDF scan of Baldwin's Class List which lists most of Baldwin's locomotives by Class- there is also a Key for the class names to make translating the Class names easier. This file is also bookmarked by Class for easier searching. I've also included high res PDF scans of Four Baldwin Publications- Narrow Gauge Locomotives and Logging Locomotives which has specifcations and photos of these special engines. The logging catalog also has photos and specs of the rare Baldwin geared Shay like locomotives. Also included is The history of Baldwin 1834-1896 which is a great resource for 1800's locomotives. And a Baldwin Catalog from 1900. There are thousand of pages here-which would cost hundreds of dollars to duplicate - I should know as I have copied all of these from various sources over the years. Also included is an HL Broadbelt Catalog from the early 1980's, which lists all the Baldwin builders photos that he make from the original negatives and glass plates, this collection is now at the Pennsylvania RR Museum where I have heard that they still make prints.
