Antique Leather Doctors Bag

Description

An absolutely beautiful and very well made antique leather doctors bag which I'd guess to be from around 1930. The top portion of the latch carries it's patent number which dates to around 1924 and the bottom portion is stamped as shown in the photo's.
The interior is currently black. When found, there was a hole towards one of the interior bottom corners which required patching. Not so on the exterior.  A newer and proper black leather piece was patched inside You cannot see it unless you get a flashlight and stick your head half way in, otherwise, you can't.
This bag has a 14 frame and with the leather protruding from sides is around 16" wide, 9" front to back, and 8.5" tall not counting the handles.  For a doctor's bag, on the smaller size, not small enough to totally be adorable, but partly adorable and most definitely beautiful.
Open and shuts fine, stitched handles are about perfect, and was fortunate enough to impart a wonderful subtle sheen to the leather I believe you would enjoy, as it's one of my favorites.
