Antique Black Leather Gladstone Doctors Medical Bag Corduroy Lined 1800's-1900's

Description

This is an antique leather bag (possibly walrus leather) from between the late 1800's and early 1900's.  It clearly has been on many house calls and baby deliveries!  Or carried many tools in its day.
This bag has seen a lot of history and has substantial wear and tear. See pictures. It is intact with some splitting in areas.  Lined with corduroy (unique) and the brass snaps work to close the bag. The handle is intact and can carry the bag. There is no key so it cannot be locked.
Numerals "18" and "270" are embossed on the bottom.
It can be displayed as is, or restored. Either way, it is an impressive piece of medical decor.
