Original Rolling Stones stage design for their Gimme Shelter performance on The Ed Sullivan Show in November of 1969. This is the original pencil and ink
mechanical drawing used to create the blueprints. Studio mechanicals,
blueprints and any art created for production was made to be disposable and is very difficult to obtain. The drawing is on a light weight glassine or tracing paper. This piece comes from the estate of the Ed Sullivan Show art director Bill Bohnert who was also responsible for the Beatles historic performances on the Sullivan Show.
There is creasing from being folded but the art has been stored flat for years. The page shows
minor wear and toning from age. Look over photos for accurate condition.
Measures approximately: 23" x 19".
