    Description

Here's a very neat 36 page report showing locations & intersections of the main line & branches of the Erie Railway. It's dated April, 1877. The front cover has apparently been folded back, and is torn from top to bottom, but it is complete. The fist page is not attached, it's a long wax paper drawing of the Cross Town RR in Buffalo, NY measuring 48" by 9 1/4", folded in 4ths (shown in photos 2 & 3). The next page is also loose, and looks like it was never actually attached to this booklet. It looks like a copy of a blueprint map of the Railroads between Lake Erie, New York, & Boston date 1842! (see photo 4). The next page is a handwritten Index Page, followed by 34 wax paper maps of various intersections & branches. The top of the Index Page is partially damaged (see photo_, but all of the wax paper maps are in great shape. This was found in the attic of a hoarder house, and the grandfather of the owner was a railroad employee at the turn of the last century. I do have several other railroad items that were found with this piece. Pretty historic piece that should probably in a museum. Shipping in the US is .
