    Description

    Antique Brown Crocodile Leather Doctor Bag  Model 12 255. This is a beautiful old doctors bag. It is believed to be manufactured in England  patented in 1874 so almost 150 years old. Some wear, especially on the inside, but otherwise it is in fantastic shape for its age. Mechanically everything opens, closes, and latches fine. Key not included. Model “12 255” stamped on bottom.
    Measures 16" inches wide x 8 inches tall x 7 inches deep. There is an inside backwall pocket that exposes the cotton lining between the leather liner and exterior. Cleaned, conditioned, and oiled the bag  feels like a well maintained antique football.
    This piece would display very well on a bookshelf or anywhere. There is a special touch to open it, you must slide the latch to the right and then lift the pull to the left and up. Two latches on each side secure it closed completely. See pictures for all details and condition.
